Premature Ventricular Complexes (PVCs)

A premature ventricular complex (PVC) is an extra heartbeat that begins in one of the heart’s two lower pumping chambers, arising from an ectopic focus within the ventricles. The extra beats disrupt your regular heart rhythm, sometimes causing a feeling of fluttering or a skipped beat in your chest.
